Russ Mannino was kind enough to share some his Racquetball Trading Cards. He was even kind enough to share them 6 times
I really dig old school racquetball memorabilia, and think cards like these would be a great addition to the USA Racquetball Museum. Based on the description below, I’m not sure whether these are for sale through Russ’ online store, or if he is just showing off some cool stuff from his collection.

The 2007 USA Racquetball Junior Olympic Championships concluded hours ago on Tempe, AZ. Thanks to www.racquetballonline.tv, I was able to watch several of the featured matches live from Portland, OR! I don’t have the complete list of champions from each age division, but I do know that the winners of the 18 and under divisions for boys and girls were Jose Rojas and Michelle Key.
And just when winning the toughest boys division in the event isn’t enough, Jose also won a gold in the boy’s 16 and under as well. There are only three juniors in the history of USA Racquetball to have accomplished the feat of winning both 16’s and 18’s in the same year:
2007 Jose Rojas (Calif.)
2002 Adrienne Fisher (Ohio)
2000 Jack Huczek (Mich.) - 2007 #1 Men’s Player in the World
There are also two champions who won 18’s three years in a row, which means that they were 16 when winning their first title. These athletes most likely did not compete in both 16’s and 18’s during their first 18 and under championship season:
Elkova Icenogle (Calif.), 1990, 1991, 1992
Michelle Gilman (Ore.) 1987, 1988, 1989
**** Jack Huczek won three 18’s titles (2000, 2001, 2002)
**** Adrienne FIsher won three 18’s titles (2002, 2003, 2004)
For a complete list of this year’s finishers, here are the online results: http://www.r2sports.com/tourney/display/tourney.asp?TID=2093 . If you click “results” on that page, you’ll get a nice listing of the top finishers in each division.
Adam Katz has promised a final day recap as well as photos, so stay tuned!!
